"Within X meters". Define X?

So, back to college today, and this hilarious opportunity arose. I had been aware of this for a while, and found it amusing, so decided to snap a quick photo of it to share.

If x is a minus integer is it mandatory to smoke inside on the nice leather couch?

    Gaelic is first, English second. Is Gaelic the primary language, and English secondary? I have a never-ending list of questions about Ireland, which you probably realize by now.
